Frequently asked questions.
Epoxy floors can last many years with the right prep and thats why we focus on prep the most since without a good prep the installation can or will fail.
Typically a 2 car garage floor can take up to 2 days just all depends if there is any removal of flooring in your garage.
Yes on every floor we put a top coat either a polyerathane or a Polyaspartic. to protect the floor from lots of harsh chemicals and environment that can cause the floor to fail.
The floor is grinded to expose the aggregate and to scratch the surface for the coating to be able to grip and bond to the concrete.
Our floors are slip resistance since we ad a slip resistance additive to prevent floors from being slippery.
Once we add the top coat, it takes 72 hours to fully cure and after the cure time has been completed you can park your car in the garage. The top coat will be ready for light traffic after 24 hours meaning you can walk on it by then.
The best way to maintain floor coatings is to keep the floors clean and don't allow the floors to stay dirty for long periods of time. Since dirty floors can stain floors if left for long periods of time.
