Epoxy Garage floor Installation Process

Concrete Grinding and Sanding

Our first step to the concrete is to grind the floor to make sure the Epoxy will bond strong to the concrete. Then after we vacuum and fix imperfections

Repairing of Concrete Cracks and gaps

When there are gaps and cracks its good practice to open the pores and regrind the edges to be able to accept the new Epoxy gap filler.

Adding Epoxy Gap and Crack filler

Once we grind and open pores on gaps we put an epoxy base gap filler to seal and even out all gaps or holes that need repair.

ReGrind and seal to double check

Once we put gap filler we regrind and check to make sure everything is even and ready for coating. So this process is very important for the proper bond.

Rolling and sealing floors

Once floors are prepped we install the epoxy Primer or vapor barrier before broadcasting the flakes

Spreading the flakes onto the floor

Once we coat the floor with epoxy then we throw the flakes to the full floor and fill completely with flakes.

Protective Coating Polyaspartic

Once the Epoxy is dry we come back and clean any leftover flakes then we coat the floor with a topcoat with polyaspartic.

The Floor Is finished and ready to enjoy

After the full process in getting the floors done the floor is now ready and can take up to 72 hours to fully cure.
